Abstract

The scientific conference for master's students and young researchers studying in the specialty 291 International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies was held within the framework of the project 101047919 - MEDITERreg "THE RING OF MEDITERRANEAN: REGIONAL STUDIES". The Jean Monnet Module (Grant type ERASMUS-JMO- 2021-MODULE) is implemented by the Department of International Relations and headed by the chief of the Department Olga Brusylovska. Funded by the European Union. Views and opinions expressed are however those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). Neither the European Union nor EACEA can be held responsible for them. The conference was held online on May 15, 2024. Among the issues discussed at the conference, the analysis of the practice of regionalism in the Mediterranean, with focus on modern conflicts and the role of external actors, occupied a prominent place.
