THE THEORY OF SOCIAL WORK IN THE CONTEMPORARY UKRAINIAN CONTEXT OF SOCIAL WORK AND IN REEVALUATION PERSPECTIVES
Abstract
The article is dedicated to the analysis of contemporary social work theory in Ukraine and the discussion of prospects for its reevaluation in the context of post-war actions. The author examines the historical development and current state of social work, its methodological foundation, and theoretical approaches applied in various spheres of social practice. In conditions of armed conflict, social work faces the necessity of adapting to changing social conditions and the needs of the population. The author identifies key principles for developing new theoretical concepts that will respond to the challenges of post-war recovery. Special attention is given to the need for integrating crisis intervention theory, trauma-informed approaches, and community development as the basis for stabilizing and restoring the social sphere. A separate review is provided regarding the quality of life in Ukrainian society during the post-war period, theoretical and practical changes capable of responding promptly to societal changes and contributing to the social healing of the nation.
