Анотація

У статті проаналізовано умови формування американського коду месіанського характеру американської нації від Manifest Destiny до Make America Great Again. Зазначається, що суспільна думка США складалася під виливом протестантських догм і подавала світ як арену боротьби «добра» в особі американців зі злом в особі всіх незгодних з ідеєю месіанізму. Фундаментальне переконання з месіанським підтекстом зробило США експансіоністським від самого початку, породивши первісне рішення стати континентальним гігантом, який, урешті-решт, поширить свій месіанський вплив на світовий простір. Показано, що після Другої світової війни статус США стає статусом «наддержави», а термін «Pax Americana» використовується для опису переваги американської наддержави. Аналізується створення Євроатлантичної системи безпеки, яка зараз знаходиться в кризі. Основною причиною участі США в європейській інтеграції, безсумнівно, було те, що американські політичні еліти, які приймали рішення, і їхні західноєвропейські колеги розглядали це як стратегію «розбудови порядку», яка була необхідною для вирішення радянської загрози. Звертається увага на сучасні події в американському суспільстві. Перемога Д. Трампа – це не проста зміна прізвища нового президента США, це зміна зовнішньополітичного курсу країни, а після гучних заяв нового президента зміна й світового глобального порядку. Епоха, що почалася з приходом Дональда Трампа до влади, отримала назву «доктрина Донро». Вона співзвучна з «доктриною Монро», яка обумовлювала лідерство США в Західній півкулі майже 200 років. В американській пресі «доктриною Донро» називають домагання Трампа на Канаду, Гренландію і Панамський канал. Настає час дипломатії грошей та угод.
